Tl~e resul ts <br />of the vote was: 17 residents for barrier curbing, and ~ residents <br />for driveover curbing. <br /> <br />Benke noted the audience predominantly prefers that barrier curbing <br />be installed on all streets, except for the corner of 16th Terrace <br />and 14th Avenue near Hipp's Point. <br /> <br />Gunderman nc.ted that the south s~de of 13th Street, which is <br />undJveloped, should be considered for driveover curbing. A resident <br />of 13th Streot said he would prefer barrier curb~ng. <br /> <br />Council would support barrier curbing on all streets, except for the <br />CQ(~er of 16th Terrace and 14th Avenue. <br /> <br />Benke noted a resident's letter which preferred parking be banned <br />on the west side of 14th Avenue NW, beb/een 15th Terrace and 16th <br />Tenace. Staff feels the parking arrange.ments on Hipp's Point <br />shou1d be sim~lar to the parking on 14th Avenue NW. <br /> <br />After hear'ing comments from the residents, several decis'ions were <br />made in regards to parking: <br /> <br />Ban pal'king 011 the west side of 14th Avenue Nl.J <br />Ban parking on the northwest side of Hipp's Point <br />Ban parking on the north side of 13th Street <br />Ban parking on the east side of 12th Street <br /> <br />Benke feels a document should be drafted by the City Attorney which <br />waul d pro'~ect the ri ghts of the Ci ty in r'egards to the storm sewer <br />issue. Benke would support the deletion ,:>f tlh~ p']ace of drainage <br />pipe on 1673--14th Avenue NW. <br />
