LeFevere said that since the charge is 1 isted on the property statement as a special assessment it would not be tax deductible. Jerry Bensing, Chairman of the EQC, asked how the City will address the subject of yard waste. Benke said the County is proposing to manage large sites and the cities who have space would manage the smaller sites. Bensing suggested that the Arden Hills site be considered a transfer station. The County or City could move the yard waste from Arden Hills to a larger location. Benke said this option could be considered. Gunderman said the subcommittee did an excellent job researching and presenting this issue. Benke thanked the subcommi ttee for thei r work and offered the Council's assistance in this program. Benke noted that Council Business Agenda Item #2, Consideration of Resolution Designating Institutions as Depositories of City Funds for Investment Purposes and the Naming of Primary Depository has been requested to be removed from the agenda. Due to time conflicts, Wayne Burlingame of First State Bank of New Bri ghton has not been abl e to meet with Margaret Egan, Fi nance Director. Brandt stated that paragraph one of the resolution and line four from paragraph two would be removed. Also, Brandt noted an incorrect spelling of IIprimaryll in paragraph one.
