The <br />reason for thi s drop in new constructi on is that the amount of <br />available land is diminishing. <br /> <br />The 1989 EDC's Goals and Activities include: <br /> <br />Redevelopment of the Robinson Coach site with 1 ight <br />industrial development. <br /> <br />Development completion of the remainder of TIF District <br />#6 with the northern parcel developed commercially and <br />the southeastern parcel developed with multiple <br />residential structures. <br /> <br />Formul ate an overall redevelopment plan for the <br />downtown/old town area. <br /> <br />Establish an overall redevelopment plan for rendering <br />plants and adjacent area. <br /> <br />Continue to promote New Brighton. <br /> <br />Establish an audit process for all redevelopment <br />projects. <br /> <br />Maintain Star City designation. <br /> <br />Fournier added that the City staff has done an excellent job and it <br />has been his pleasure to serve as Chairman this past year. Williams <br />thanked Fournier for his leadership and the rest of the <br />commissioners for all their excellent work and looks forward to an <br />exciting year.
