Companies <br />Report 88-320 <br /> <br />Benke and Neil Linnehan, Chamber of Commerce, had previously <br />discussed onducting audits on previous relocation projects to <br />evaluate th City's relocation process. <br /> <br />Brandt feel , Mr. Tilden would be able to provide the City Staff <br />with valuab e information regarding relocation assistance. <br /> <br />Benke expr ssed his concern for the residents involved, and <br />suggested t e project be deferred for two weeks. During the next <br />two weeks, enke felt Anne Norris, Community Development Specialist, <br />and Locke ould meet with the residents and discuss options for <br />their reloc tion. <br /> <br />Larson agre d with Benke to defer for two weeks; and felt this would <br />clear up th many questions the residents involved have. <br /> <br />Ms. Carol Tilden, Owner, Liquid Scale, expressed her dissatisfaction <br />with the pr vious move; and asked why the zoning of this area keeps <br />changing. <br /> <br />Benke apol gized for the New Brighton Bulletin article; and <br />exp 1 a i ned, in the past, it was common to fi nd res i dent i a 1 homes <br />located in n area zoned Industrial. <br /> <br />Motion by L rson, seconded by Williams, to DEFER FOR TWO WEEKS THE <br />CONSIDERATI N OF DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH WELSH COMPANIES (T.I.F. <br />#16 - MOUN S AVENUE SITE) UPON DISCUSSIONS BETWEEN CITY STAFF AND <br />RESIDENTS I VOLVED. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 ayes, Motion Carried. <br /> <br />Les Proper, City Engineer, presented the award contract for Projects <br />88-18 and 8 -20. <br /> <br />Project 88 18, consists of milling and overlaying the existing <br />bituminous urfacing and the repair of concrete curbing and sidewalk <br />on the foll wing streets: <br /> <br /> <br />ippi Street between Stinson Blvd and Long Lake Road <br />reet NW between Silver Lake Road and Long Lake Road <br />eet NW between Stinson Blvd. and Old Highway 8 <br />ad between the west city limits and Old Highway 8 <br /> <br />Midwest Asphalt Bid <br />Award for MSA Street <br />Rehabilitation <br />Report 88-321 <br />Resolution 88-131 <br />
