The City Prosecuting Attorney would <br />handle the ca e. Hank Sinda, City Manager, acknowledged that the <br />City would no be charged extra for prosecuting these cases, just <br />the present mo thly fee of $2,000. LeFevere said, in normal cases, <br />the costs tha are recovered are usua 11 y in excess of the 1 ega 1 <br />fees, but there are exceptions. <br /> <br />Larson asked if thi s ordi nance covers boats and tent trail ers. <br />Mattila said t e Staff would recommend the storage of boats and tent <br />trailers to b placed under the Exterior Storage Ordinance rather <br />than under th Parking Ordinance. <br /> <br />Benke asked w at section of the ordinance refers to the storage of <br />inoperative m tor vehicles. Mattila acknowledged this section is <br />located in t e Ci ty Code, and it is enforced by the Pol ice <br />Department. <br /> <br />Benke suggest d the continuation of the publ ic hearing and a <br />clarification of the definition of storage; and also receive input <br />from the Cham er of Commerce. <br /> <br />Mr. Ken Slive , 3164 Mississippi Street, has found the lengths of <br />travel trailers are getting increasingly longer and fails to see the <br />difference in proposing an allowable length. Mr. Slivey would like <br />the Council a d Staff to reconsider the length matter. <br /> <br />Benke asked Slivey if he felt there should be more definition <br />into long-ter storage than length of the vehicle. Mr. Slivey <br />agreed with this, pertaining it does not interfere with a <br />neighboring roperty. Benke commented that providing these <br />limitations on length and tonnage, would provide control over <br />unreasonable ituations. <br /> <br />Benke asked M .
