SP-70

-3-

If it is determined that this recreational center is an
appropriate and desirable use of land, the Council may wish to
consider the followi~g as conditions for approval of the special
use permit:

1. Specified hours of operation. Perhaps limiting operation to
non-school time hours and closing by the 10:00 P.M. curfew,.
The Council may want to consider expanding hours of operation
on weekends and maybe school vacations.

2. That window area's in front of the building be left unobstructed.
This would provide some aid in police surveillance.

3. That bike racks be provided in rear of building.

4. That the property be properly maintain~d so as to avoid a
nuisance.

5. That the special use permit be reviewed after six months
of operation.

The Council is reminded of the amusement center report
prepared by the Building and Planning Coordinator. The report
which was previously presented to the Planning Commission and
Council, includes a summary of an amusement center survey and a
discussion of the various types of regulations that could be
applied to these centers.

Planninq Commission Consideration & Recommendation (3-16-76):

Please See Attached
