<br />... <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />SP-85 <br />Page #2 <br /> <br />The applicant has proposed that tenants be allowed signs on the <br />exterior doors indicating tenant name only. In o~der to avriid <br />a cluttered appearance, signs on the exterior doors listing <br />tenants name(s) only may be appropriate if the lettering is <br />kept to three (3) inches or less in height. <br /> <br />The applicant has also noted that the existing non-conforming <br />ground signs will be removed prior to the installation of new <br />signage at the site. <br /> <br />The design .and location of the building creates a situation where <br />signing should be handled sensitively. The trade; off of having <br />tenants names on the ground sign would appear to be appropriate <br />in lieu of any wall signs on the building. <br /> <br />RECD.MMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends that SP-85 be approved by waiving the reading <br />and adopting the attached resolution. <br /> <br />The Board of Review at its regular meeting March 20, 1979 recommended <br />approval of SP-85 by adopting a similar resolution. <br /> <br />~Arcl!! riw~-0 <br /> <br />Clty Planner <br /> <br />-. <br /> <br />:!P <br />
