-2- <br />Mr. Wilson stated that many people park in that area and that there <br />is parking there at times when the gate is shut. <br />The Administrative Assistant'notea that the previously approved site <br />plan had more parking spaces shown than are shown on the present <br />plan and noted that much of that space shown for parking is occupied <br />by rental equipment. <br />Daniels stated that fie was concerned not only with parking in the <br />front yard but also with parking outside the fence as a whole. <br />Mr. Wilson suggested that if the asphalt were left but not used for <br />parking that posts and chain could be put in to border the area and <br />tables with umbrellas could be placed there to create a decorative <br />effect. <br />Planning Commiss;on Recommendation (12-18-73): <br />Motion by Mann, seconded by Daniels, to recommend denial of VN-114. <br />Mann stated he was opposed to granting the variance because the <br />requirements are not met, but also because it is a matter of <br />consistency and he feels the ordinance standards must be adhered to. <br />Parham stated she would also vote no because the requirements were <br />not met. <br />Motion carried 3-0
