Peterson replied thaic the property was similar in size to'his <br />father's property. <br />Partyka said the pverall size or the parcel is 98,000 square feet <br />`and .the minimum lot size is only 10,000 square feet.' Part~kss <br />stated he- saw no problem with the requ~ste <br />t~.+ickland noted that them was much concern for .entrances onto <br />Long Lake Road 'when the'plat ~or_Walker Heights was discussed <br />a few months ago. <br />Fredrickson said her principal-concern was for..-traffic. <br />~artyka said that if this vaere a shopping center, there would be <br />a coneern for>the increased traffic but that in this case, there <br />is only the addition of one house. <br />Motign by,Bohlingo seconded by Partyka, to recommend approval. <br />o~ VN-165 based on the applicant's. letter noting undue hardship <br />and unique circumstances. -It is further recommended that the <br />approval be conditioned-on the followings <br />1. That the applicant submit a plan.showing the location <br />of the hour at an elevation a minimum of 3 feet <br />abo~~ the regional flood level of .Long Lake. <br />[nTickland asked fore clarification of the applicant's statements. <br />regarding setbacks of other homes around the lake. <br />Nir. Peterson replied that what was meant by this, was that his <br />father's property was developed with the house a considerable <br />distance from Long Lake whi1~? new developments have the houses <br />placed. nearer the Take. Mr. neterson replied that his 1arg~ <br />setback from the lake was what he xeferred to as creating a unique' <br />circumstance. <br />
