Page 2.
MacGillis and Gibbs
depth from this line. There will be three trees in each jog.
Two of them will be 5'-6' Colorado Spruce trees and the third
tree will be a 61-8' Colorado Spruce. The plan also calls for
wood chip mulch in each jog. 14 Bittersweet vines along the main
spans of fence, and sod from the fence to the property line. The
front line of the fence is set back 7' from the property line.
There is one concern pertaining to the revised site plan as
presented. The fence line on either side of the existing
entrance has the same setback as the rest of the fence. It is
the feeling of the staff that a substantial jog at the location
of the driveway would greatly improve the overall plan. By
setting back the fence around the driveway, the driveway would
be easily identifiable and the site distance for people using
the drive would be greatly increased. This would both enhance
the appearance of the fence and make the area safer for vehicular
traffic.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The staff recommends the approval of the revised site and land-
scape plans relative to VN-167, dated February 18, 1978, with
the following condition:
1. The fence line be set back an additional-distance on
each side of the existing entrance, and the area
between the fence and property line be landscaped to
match the other proposed landscaped areas.
Glen Atkinson, Planning Aide
ames F.
