Would feature our <br />own blend of "jug wine" and offer limited selec- <br />tions of quality wines for short advertised <br />periods, ie. changing every two weeks. Wines <br />that are extremely popular would be added to <br />a regular menu. Wines featured would be avail- <br />. able in package store for case and bottle sales. <br />If customer of package store wanted to buy a <br />bottle of wine for consumption in the wine bar, <br />a corkage would be charged. We would also offer <br />special beer promotions on imported and rare <br />domestic beers, ie. Samuel Smith's or Anchor <br />Steam on tap. We would also feature a "Beer of <br />the Month", similar to the wine program. <br />Imported and domestic cordials would be handled <br />similarly-.- Possible name for addition would be <br />"Palmer Drive Pub", or something not relating <br />to a municipal bar. <br />FOR WHOM: <br />Demographics of the area indicate higher than <br />average incomes to support the addition. (report <br />attached.) No real competition for this type <br />of operation exists in the area. 'Robert Lee's <br />lounge is small and used primarily for diners, <br />with several local citizen groups ,holding <br />meetings there. The Mermaid is for a younger <br />crowd and bowling enthusiast. Launching Pad <br />again is a younger dance oriented crowd. The <br />Shorewood, to the west, again is a restaurant <br />crowd, and to the south is Apache Wells, a sma.11• <br />
