<br /> <br />Long Lakes l~ax-k Update -1- April 15, 1980 <br />• <br />An intero5tiny development has occurred in a situation very similar <br />to New I3riyhton's. The City of Eden Prairie bought land in the late <br />1960's with a combination of HUD, Lawcon and city funds. This land <br />was eventually designated as a regional park and was to be combined <br />with land owned by IIennepin County and the City of Bloomington to <br />form thG Anderson Lakes Re~i.onal Park. At this tune it appears <br />certain that Metro Council will "buy out" Eden Prairie's interest <br />in the mite and turn it over to Iiennepin County.
