We
have not received anything from the County since 1974. We need
a starting point. We don't know where they are, they don't either.
Benke stated that. in negotiations we will start at the highest
level.
Anderson stated that we want ever thing, Ramse Count may not
Y Y Y
want to even discuss it with us.
Gunderman told Benke he would like to explore other alternatives.
Gunderman stated he could understand the Manager's position because
things happen behind the scene.
Carlson said yes, but the City would be negotiating with County
staff rather than the Board.
Dahl stated there has already been alot of negotiating done on
this. We have to wait far the Board report for something concrete
to work with.
Grimshaw stated when the report comes we can be looking both at
negotiation and also other alternatives.
Johnson stated he preferred not to transfer ownership,
Dahl stated that could possibl3~ be an option but we don't know at
this time.
Johnson stated that when the proposal comes back we should .know
what we agree and disagree with.
Dahl stated that if something is discussed now it may come back to
haunt us because we really don't know what the County Board's de-
cision is.
