Old Business A. .Hansen Concept Plan Anderson briefly reviewed. the new plans.-for Hansen parking lot. The dual .parking lot had changed. The change resulted from a closer look at the area.. The ground is not stable enough to have the lot,running too far east. Because the .lot was made shorter, the split parking lot is no .longer attractive. Anderson.: stated that Les Proper, City Engin~- eer, was present to .answer some technical questions. The two options remaining are the double entrance/exit and the single entrance/exit Gunderman asked the width of the driveway. .Anderson stated about 20 feet. Gunderman-asked if the trees in the middle of the. lot are part of the proposal. Anderson said yes. Van Hatten asked if a tree would.°have to be taken down on the single entrance plan .would: be o the south. Anderson said yes.:. Van Hatten asked if the entrance sign would have to be moved. Anderson said hopefully no. .Gunderman asked if soil borings had been taken in the area the lot is proposed. Anderson said no. There has been enough done in the-area that staff if familiar with the ground. It should be no problem. Johnson stated that if -the northeastern corner of the lot in plan A or C were squared off it would `slow traffic down and also create more parking spaces next to the ball fields.
