Dahl liked the picnic area away from the
parking lot.
Olson feels the same as Dahl. The free skating area is
practical where it is. It would also be practical to leave
the entrance as it is. Liked the picnic area as in the first
drawing away from the parking lot.
Van Hatten would like free skating close to the shelter building.
The picnic. area is ok as is or put it north of the tennis courts.
Entrance could be on the other side of the sign. Have two road-
ways one for entrance and one exit.
Carlson asked. if we could afford to give up the spaces used for
parking as shown in the second drawing.
Anderson stated that the first two drawings show the lot holding
about 60 cars. The second two drawings show the lot holding
about 75-.100 cars.
Carlson stated he liked the free skating where it is now.. Parents
like to drop their kids-.off and pick them up and if it were too
far from the. shelter building the parents would have to take a
hike to find their kids,- Carlson likes the pien:ic area close to
the water. Likes the present driveway with speed bumps because
it's the safest.. Would liketo see a separate entrance and
exit.
Grimshaw favors the first drawing - likes the speed bumps. Keep
the curved entrance but maybe remove half of 'the berm. Likes
the picnic area bythe wa er-. Likesthe free skating where it
is.
