A no wake zone is established over the entire lake on all legal holidays commencing. at 10:00 p.m. on the evening preceding the observed holiday and terminating at 7:0.0 a.m. on the-day following the observed holiday; except that period of time be- tween 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the observed holiday.. {These two .provisions would take .effect upon opening of the public boat-launch and are intended to pro- videtimes fqr smaller, slower boats and fishermen _ to use the lake. This provision. has generated a great deal of comment, however the Park Board feels that it is necessary to insure use rights for a variety of interests..) Sec. 19-32. Prohibited Wake. No person shall operate a motor-powered watercraft in the no wake zone in such a manner as will create a wake. Sec. 19-33. Boat Launching. No .person shall launch or beach a watercraft other -than at designated areas or on private property with the owner's permission. (This provision is designed primarily to prohibit indis- criminate boat launching from the park area.) -Sec. 19-34. No person shall operate a non-motorized watercraft, except a sailboat, in the wake zone of the lake when motor-powered watercraft producing a wake occupy the same half as divided by the channel of the lake. (This provision is designed to provide nearly unrestricted use for power boats during certain times of the day.) _ Sec. 19-35. Direction of Travel _ _ No person shall_operate a watercraft producing a wake_ in a clockwise direction; .the only. permissible direction shall be to operate the boat in a counter-clockwise direction. _ (This provision is consistent with recommendations that DNR is establishing for statewide application.)
