He further requested <br />that interested residents lend their support to the .project. <br />Mary Medved, 171 titi~indsor Court and Dale Seppa, 20 Oakwood Drive. <br />volunteered to serve as contact persons. <br />Minneapolis Glater Treatment Site <br />Mrs. Dee Weaver, 703 Forest Dale Road appeared to request that <br />the Minneapolis Water Department be requested to remove its <br />boundary fence so the area could be used for hiking, .etc. Staff <br />agreed to contact the Water Department. <br />Freedom Park Tennis Courts <br />Motion by Dahl, seconded by Weissman that the Board recommends <br />placing tennis courts on the northeast corner of the Pike Lake <br />Elementary School site for the following reasons. Motion passed. <br />- There is easy access for the users. <br />- Adequate parking is present. <br />- There will be no disruption or discontinuance of current <br />park services. <br />Council ti~dork Session - Long Lake <br />Motion by Dahl, seconded by Sullivan to request a joint meeting <br />in April with the City Council. Motion passed. <br />An agenda will be developed at the April Park Board meeting. <br />Lake Surface Use Committee <br />Sullivan reported on the first meeting of the Committee. It <br />appears that at the present time the Committee is uncertain as <br />to the exact nature of its charge. The topic was requested to <br />appear again on the April agenda. <br />1975 Recreation Report <br />The report was distributed to the Board and will be discussed <br />at the April meeting. <br />VII. Next Park Board meeting is schedule far Wednesday, April 7, <br />1976 a. t 8:00 p . m . <br />VIII. Meeting was adjourned at 10030 p.m. Minutes submitted by <br />Maurice H.
