<br /> <br />(3) <br />1. Hansen Park Road - The Department has installed two sets of signs; <br />one set which prohibits trucks from using the road, another set <br />which establishes a 15 mile-per-hour speed limit. These signings <br />are an attempt to eliminate use the road <br />2. Water Line - The water line through Hansen Park is running <br />approximately one month behind 'the revised schedule, however, <br />the pipe has been delivered and it is hoped that the project <br />will be completed by fall. <br />3. Long Lake Site Road - The Engineering Department has been <br />running a feasibility study concerning installation of a road <br />from the south end of Long Lake site. Preliminary reports <br />indicate a good possibility of such an installation, however, <br />the final report is not yet completed. <br />4. Winsor Green Property - Department has investigated the site <br />suggested as a possible park nearGlinsor Green. It is zoned <br />commercial and has an extremely high price tag. It was suggested <br />that the most logical approach to a recreational site in this <br />area was the upgrading of Silver Oak School grounds. Contacts <br />have been made in this area. <br />5. Seminary - No further contacts with the Seminary concerning the <br />possibility of developing a part of their property a neighborhood <br />playground. Members of the Seminary staff had expressed an <br />interest in the proposal but details were necessary before final <br />committments could be made. As there are no funds available to <br />develop such plans, the project has stalled at this point. <br />6. Park Site Acquisition - The Village attorney is in the process <br />of negotiations for acquisition of two proposed park sites. <br />7. Hansen Park Street Vacation - Nothing further has been done <br />regarding vacation of certain streets in Hansen Park. <br />Hansen Park Road <br />Three resid ents from the area around Hansen Park discussed diffi- <br />culties t~Jith traffic coming out of the park from the park road. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:31 p.m. <br />Respectively submitted, <br />Robert M.
