Deny the petition <br />The hearing went well and both sides of the issue were <br />accurately presented. The judge is expected to reach a <br />decision during the week of October 4th. You will be <br />provided copies of-his ruling when it is rendered. <br />3) Petroleum Residuals <br />We have apparently run out of alternative disposal methods <br />to dispose of the material and the PCA is requiring that <br />the problem be abated this fall. We are securing proposals <br />for disposing in approved out-of-state landfills and will <br />be submitting those to the council for .action in the next <br />• to months. At this time we have no estimate of cost, <br />however, is likely to exceed $20,000. <br />There is no action required on any of .these issues at this time, <br />Tt appears, however that by late November at the latest, council <br />action and/or guidance will be needed on all of these issues. <br />r <br />• <br />
