<br />'t'his four hour daily program modeled after the
<br />British Infant School will be organized around
<br />interest centers in industrial arts, physical education,
<br />creative arts, practical arts, language arts, games and
<br />strategies acid science. Each day the students ptan
<br />their schedules selecting activities in which they

<br />wish to be involved. Note: 'Phis is a four hour class.
<br />Students enrolling in this course cannot enroll in any

<br />ELEMENTARY AR'PS AND CIt,AF1'S Grades 1-7

<br />creative using many different mediums such as varied
<br />craft projects, clay experiences, hand built pottery
<br />and sandcasting and art creations. Students will be
<br />grouped according to interest and skill levels. Fee:

<br />I'T'ALIC HANDWRITING Grades 3-7
<br />~ Studentr ~ will learn the art of Italic Handwriting.
<br />~ Included in the course will be the basic letter forma-
<br />tion for lower case and capital letters, letter flourish-
<br />ing and layouts, as well as many ways to use Italics.
<br />Fee: $55.00.
<br />LEISURE TIME SPORTS Grades 4-7
<br />Students will be introduced to activities that can be
<br />carried on in leisure time. Proper skill development,
<br />rules and game strategies will be introduced and re-
<br />fined through the class. Activities will include ping
<br />gong, horseshoe, volleyball, badminton, golf, softball,
<br />bocce and soccer. Fee: $55.00.
<br />MUSIC AND C;UAMES Grades 1-3
<br />Students will learn a variety of songs: popular, folk
<br />~° and traditional. Songs will be sung in unison; two
<br />part and round forms. Students will have opportuni-
<br />ties to accompany themselves on simple instruments
<br />-.such as percussion, barred, auto harp and guitar. The
<br />intermediate and upper level students will be able to
<br />play recorders. Fee: $55.00.
