This request is to replace them with like vehicles and the majority of their <br />equipment will transfer to the replacement vehicles. The city mechanics report a good <br />service history with the Ford squads in their severe work environment. Squads 040, 041 <br />and 042 will be sold at state auction once the replacement squads are in service. <br />Costs and Funding: The three (3) 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptors will be <br />purchased under Minnesota State Contract #435254 through Elk River Ford at a total <br />price of $22,745.00 each which is below the fleet fund allowance of $30,600.00 per unit. The <br />cut off date for squad builds by Ford is March of 2007. <br />John A.
