DAHL OPPOSED. <br />Ken Simons read the master plan regarding who is responsible <br />for enforcing the snowmobiling ordinance. It stated that <br />Ramsey County is responsible for patrolling the lake surface. <br />. ~ MOTION 8Y VAN HATTEN THAT THE AREA IN THE PARK ON THE WEST SIDE <br />OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS BE DESIGNED AS A SNOWMOBILE AREA.. <br />MOTION OTED FOR LACK OF A SECOND. <br />MOTION BY VAN HATTEN, SECONDED BY CARLSON, THAT THE PARK 80ARD <br />TAKE THE POSITION THAT SNOtVMOBILING BE ALLOWED ON .THE LAKE <br />SURFACE. <br />Dahl asked about access. <br />Carlson said that at the present time the beach area is the <br />access. Anew area-will have to be designated later when the <br />beach is moved. <br />MOTION PASSED. <br />The Park Board wanted the public aware that cross country skiing <br />and any other non-motorized activity be allowed in the entire <br />park. <br />MOTION F3Y CARLSOPJ, SECONDED BY VAN HATTEN, THAT ANY NON-MOTORIZED <br />OFF ROADWAIRECREATION ACTIVITIES BE ALLOWED IN THE-ENTIRE PARK. <br />MOTION PASSED. <br />
