Anderson said the lighting for the rink would be expensive because of the topography of the site and difficulty of getting electricity to the site. Anderson said play equipment has also been ordered. About $10,000 of equipment will be added to the existing equip- ment. It should be in by the end of June. Rose stated that the parking was not good. Anderson agreed and stated there is not much area for parking. Would like to work something out with the new townhouses going up. Evans suggested Silver Lane - inside the park so it would be handicapped accessible. Johnson asked if the parking couldn't work out by putting extra spaces by the garages like was mentioned at a previous Park Board meeting. Anderson said that was a good thought. Evans said some people prefer that their children walk behind Windsor Green through the park rather than take the sidewalk along Silver Lake Road. Evans said she has a petition asking. the City and developer to get going on the tennis courts. Anderson said the. Council may be able to help speed up the process. But it might cost some money. Evans said that adults wanted to skate too. and were in favor of the recreational lighted skating area. Johnson said an item to be added to the Totem Pole Park Comp..
