She would not have to give a presen- <br />tation. <br />Pat said a coordinator is needed. <br />Johnson said he thought she was the coordinator. <br />Pat said it will take a lot of time, more than she <br />is willing to volunteer. <br />Anderson said that perhaps someone would donate <br />money toward a salary. <br />Pat said she hopes to have most of the plant <br />materials donated. Hopes to get some from <br />Pletchers at whole sale cost. <br />Anderson said he didn't think the money for. plants <br />would be a problem. <br />Pat asked if there were any comments on the <br />Centennial Garden design. <br />Johnson said he can't tell until he sees it. <br />Anderson said he felt it important to keep the <br />Centennial Commission involved. <br />Anderson said he would like to see Pat bring <br />something back to the Park Board at the Feb. <br />meeting. <br />C. Election of Officers <br />MOTION BY CARLSON, SECONDED BY OLSON, THAT THE <br />OFFICERS REMAIN AS THEY ARE CURRENTLY; JOHNSON <br />CHAIR, VAN HATTEN VICE CHAIR. MOTION CARRIED. <br />Anderson said he met with Bill Midness from Damon <br />Farber, Architecture firm regarding the landscaping <br />of City Hall. <br />Anderson said there-will be step plantings along the <br />sidewalk to the entrance of City Hall off of 5th Ave. <br />The east side will. be screens with low shrubs and 4 <br />different flowering crabs. The landscape gets less <br />formal as you get away from the building along the <br />south parking lot. The landscape is less formal on <br />the second parking lot also. <br />
