r•.. - 13. Fundraising functions are permissible by a non-profit organization for the sole purpose that proceeds go back to the community or service organization. Examples of use are a Pancake Breakfast, a Steak Fry, a Brunch, an Auction, a Dance, etc. :Gambling of any nature is prohibited. 14. Seating capacity of the Community Room is 250. This is determined by the Fire Marshall for the City of Brooklyn Park. CURFEW FOR USE• The curfew for•use of the Activity Center Community Room shall be as follows: Sunday through Saturday - 1:00 a.m._ Alcoholic beverages may not be .served after 12:30 a.m. *Any use beyond curfew time will be charged $25.00 per hour or part of an hour. ROOM SET-UP AND DECORATIONS: 1. Room set-up must be done on the day of the event. Decoration of .room shall be appropriate and not inconvenience any other group or cause damage to the facility. 2. Unless otherwise authorizedL (this is dependent on the facility scheduling for the day) the building shall be opened a minimum of three (3) hours prior to the hours of use for caterers and all deliveries will be received in accordance with instructions on application. Any time beyond the above three (3) hours which causes additional expense to the City must be requested on the "Application for Use. " The expense of this extension shall be charged to the user group at the rate of $12.50 per hour or any part of an hour. 3. For users in all classifications, the person who makes the application for use, or their designated representative, is responsible to make an appointment with the Parks and Recreation Department staff at least one (1) week prior to the event to review the room set up, to pay full rental fees and damage deposit. Failure to complete this item may result in cancellation with no refund of reservation deposit.
