November 6, 1991 Minutes 3 <br />Anderson said it really could be done in December. <br />Olson said if there aze no other discussion items in December then that would be <br />fine. <br />Johnson noted he would be gone in December. <br />Anderson said he would distribute about 150 flyers to residents in the <br />surrounding area. <br />MOTION CARRIED. <br />B. January Meeting Date <br />Anderson mentioned that the January meeting date falls on a holiday; New Year's <br />Day. <br />Olson suggested meeting the following Wednesday, January 8. <br />The Park Board agreed to keep that as a tentative date. <br />VI. Old Business <br />A. Long Lake Advisory Committee <br />Anderson said both terms for Ken Johnson and George Carlson have expired. <br />Wayne Eck is the only legally elected member of the committee. Wayne wanted <br />some kind of form that regulates the boat launch. <br />Anderson said there two different groups of people; one wants to keep the <br />restrictions on the lake as they aze, the other feels the lake restrictions may be <br />too restrictive because the use hasn't been has heavy as expected. Eck feels the <br />rules need to be discussed again. Eck suggested that a meeting be called. <br />Anderson said it makes sense to do that. The ordinance has been in effect since <br />1980. <br />Johnson asked if the ordinance is enforced. <br />Anderson responded yes. <br />Johnson said it's fine the way it is. <br />Anderson said Wayne Eck has offered to help coordinate this meeting and to get <br />people on the lake to help. <br />Anderson said the Pazk Board is probably the best committee to do this. <br />Johnson asked Anderson if he spoke with Greg Mack about this. Ask him if feed <br />back from us is acceptable. Ken Simons could come once in a while to give a <br />report. <br />
