May 1, 1991 Park Board Minutes
3
Anderson said we need to talk to the soccer people
about that.
Treverrow and Merriman said the field would be
needed 4 or 5 nights a week.
Gunderman inquired about the density of the
development.
Flodine said one less house from other plan (13).
There are 8 and 10 plexes. There will be condos
that will be owner occupied which replace the
apartments which would have been rentals.
Rose inquired if the street will dead end.
Flodine said no, the street will go through.
Gunderman asked about the noise problem.
Flodine said there will be a berm along the
Interstate. The berm will be as big a one as can
be.
Johnson asked what action was needed.
Anderson asked if the Park Board wanted to
reaffirm it's position of 3 years ago and to agree
with the current park and its location and
boundaries.
Harstad said 14 double bungalows and 90 rentals
were converted in this new plan to owner occupied
units. The average range about $200,000.
$150,000 to $160,000 would be the cheapest.
Townhouses would be in the $80,000 range. There
wouldn't be very many school age children in this
development.
Gunderman said he was pleased to see that the
rentals were gone.
One of the gentlemen present from the soccer
association inquired if there would be a bike
path.
Anderson said it would be a pedestrian or bike
path.
It was commented that it would be nice if the kids
could bike there for soccer. Maybe the path could
run all the way to Hidden Oaks Park.
