<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 25, 1986 <br /> <br />Public Hearings, continued <br /> <br />Senden stated he is aware of the study. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Gunderman, to CLOSE THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Williams, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ENLARGEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1 TO INCLUDE THE AREA IDENTIFIED IN EXHIBIT B. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Krueger had nothing further to add to the staff report concerning <br />a minor subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Gunderman, to CONTINUE THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING ON THE SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN NEW BRIGHTON <br />UNTIL MARCH 11, 1986. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Berger stated that Gary Jones, Chairman of the Citizen Study <br />Committee, was present to present the Citizen Survey Report to <br />the council. <br /> <br />Jones reviewed the quality and level of service indicated in the <br />Citizen Survey report, highlighting both the positive and <br />negative results. <br /> <br />Benke asked Jones to compare results of the current survey to <br />the last survey, taken in 1982. <br /> <br />Jones stated a comparison indicates the results were very compat- <br />ible with those of the 1982 survey, even though the previous <br />survey was accomplished on a one-to-one basis as opposed to the <br />mailing of the current survey. <br /> <br />Benke asked Jones was satisfied that the results can be consi- <br />dered representative of the general population, despite the low <br />response rate; Jones stated that the survey could be a good one <br />because those that did respond (largely hone-owners) were <br />representative of those who would be concerned about city <br />services. <br /> <br />Williams inquired if the results of the survey were geographi- <br />cally reprentative; Jones responses were received from all areas <br />of the city, though some areas were higher than the rest. <br /> <br />Page Three <br /> <br />Minor Subdivision <br />- Basic Industries <br />and Miller property <br />Report 86-42 <br />7:45-7:46pm <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Citizen Survey Report <br />
