Motion by Benke, seconded by Gunderman, to CONTINUE THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SUBDIVISION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN NEW BRIGHTON UNTIL MARCH 11, 1986. 5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried Council Business Berger stated that Gary Jones, Chairman of the Citizen Study Committee, was present to present the Citizen Survey Report to the council. Jones reviewed the quality and level of service indicated in the Citizen Survey report, highlighting both the positive and negative results. Benke asked Jones to compare results of the current survey to the last survey, taken in 1982. Jones stated a comparison indicates the results were very compat- ible with those of the 1982 survey, even though the previous survey was accomplished on a one-to-one basis as opposed to the mailing of the current survey. Benke asked Jones was satisfied that the results can be consi- dered representative of the general population, despite the low response rate; Jones stated that the survey could be a good one because those that did respond (largely hone-owners) were representative of those who would be concerned about city services. Williams inquired if the results of the survey were geographi- cally reprentative; Jones responses were received from all areas of the city, though some areas were higher than the rest.
