<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 22, 1986 <br /> <br />Krueger had nothing to add to the staff report concerning a <br />revised site plan for construction of a new industrial building, <br />stating the applicant, Don Trainor, was present to answer any <br />questions. <br /> <br />There were no questions from Councilmembers of either staff or <br />the applicant. <br /> <br />Benke stated the building had been rotated to accommodate some <br />of the soil conditions found on the site. <br /> <br />Bob Coplund, representing the applicant, showed old and new plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Williams, seconded by Brandt, to APPROVE AMENDED <br />LP-196 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT; <br />2. APPROVAL OF ALL GRADING AND DRAINAGE BY THE CITY ENGINEER; <br />AND <br />3. CONFORMANCE WITH SITE, BUILDING, AND LANDSCAPE PLANS AS <br />SIGNED AND DATED BY THE APPLICANT AND THE CITY PLANNER; AND <br /> <br />TO APPROVE THE THREE CURB CUTS AS SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN FOR <br />LP-196. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Locke reviewed staff report concerning a request for release on <br />First and Second Streets N.W. right-of-way by Minnesota Depart- <br />ment of Transportation, explaining that such action would increase <br />the developable land in that area. <br /> <br />Schmidt questioned the amount of grading the shave the hill down; <br />Locke indicated some movement of earth is needed to build and <br />create a sufficient ponding area; Benke felt five or six feet of <br />excavation is needed. <br /> <br />Schmidt asked for the net increase in developable land; Locke <br />stated it would be more than what is gained because it makes <br />more of the rest of the site useable as well. <br /> <br />Schmidt asked if this had been discussed with MN/DOT; Locke <br />indicated it had. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Benke, to WAIVE THE READING AND <br />ADOPT A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RELEASE OF THIRST AND SECOND <br />STREETS N.W.
