<br />Council Minutes <br />April 23, 1985 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Schmidt continued that he would prefer to take action tonight <br />to deny the permit to let everyone know sooner rather than <br />later what the ultimate action is going to be. <br /> <br />Benke stated that the Planning Commission discussed whether <br />or not there would be more traffic. Although the PDQ on <br />County Road D is in a B-3 district, the Planning Commission <br />discussed whether the pumps would be a convenience for <br />shoppers rather than create new traffic. Benke felt that <br />pumps creates new traffic and gas pumps at the Tom Thumb <br />site would draw more traffic and create potential traffic <br />hazards.
