<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />CouncilMi nutes <br />Apri 1 10:, 1984 <br /> <br />Blomquist indicated that most complaints received <br />stems from outside storage or traffic and feels <br />that the ordinance will serve as a standard and <br />not just an enforcement tool. <br /> <br />Benke commented that an employee coming to work <br />and leaving constitutes two trips and is very <br />restricUve and enforceable. <br /> <br />LeFevene commented on what constitutes one trip. <br /> <br />Schmidt questioned how it is determined that a trip <br />is personal or business-related. <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 1 Nay (Schmidt), Amendment Carried <br /> <br />4 Ayes - 1 Nay (Schmidt), Amended Motion Carried <br /> <br />Krueger had nothing further to add to the staff <br />report. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist, TO WAIVE <br />THE READING AND HOLD THE FIRST READING OF AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER II, SECTION 2-527 OF THE NEW BRIGHTON <br />ZONING CODE PERTAINING TO A DEFINITION OF SCREENING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Krueger reviewed staff report regarding the Prelim- <br />inary PRO Approval and the Preliminary Plat Approval <br />for Stony Lake Place, indicating that the approvals <br />had been recommended by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Robert Strobel (owner of the property) and Sid Johnson <br />(NU Way Builders, Inc.) were available for comments <br />and to answer questions. <br /> <br />Johnson introduced the project and reviewed the plans, <br />explaining the project would be compatible with the <br />surrounding developments. <br /> <br />Benke asked for clarification of the current zoning <br />boundaries of R-l and R-2 as they pertain to this <br />development; Krueger so clarified the boundaries. <br /> <br />Winkels indicated that roughly 23 units could be <br />built if the entire area was zoned R-2. <br /> <br />Schmidt asked what the incentive would be, other than <br />the development itself, to approve the PRO (how is it <br />that we are making this development unique, some <br />special benefit and compatible with the residential <br />area, etc.). <br /> <br />Page Six <br /> <br />Definition of Screening <br />Ordinance, Amendment <br />Report 84-92 <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Stony Lake Place <br />..
