Pierce indicated the <br />peat is 17-27 feet; this building is on 12 feet of peat; <br />on the eastern side there is 7 feet of peat; also, we are <br />on a high water table. <br /> <br />In response to Benke's question, Pierce indicated the sky- <br />light is designed to bring light into the public space. <br /> <br />Pierce will continue to work with the staff on slightly <br />altering the plans. <br /> <br />Discussion with Ken Simons, Ramsey County Park Planner, re- <br />garding the status of Long Lake Park Development was post- <br />poned. <br /> <br />Krueger had nothing to add to the staff report concerning the <br />rezoning of certain property in the City of New Brighton from <br />R-l, Single Family Residential, to B-3, General Business. <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Blomquist, to WAIVE THE READING, <br />HOLD THE SECOND READING, AND ORDER PUBLICATION OF AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING THE NEW BRIGHTON ZONING ORDINANCE BY REZONING CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF NEW BRIGHTON FROM R-l, SINGLE <br />FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, TO B-3, GENERAL BUSINESS (generally the <br />northwest corner of Palmer Drive and Robin Lane) SUBJECT TO <br />THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. THAT THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS THAT PORTION OF TRACT A OF <br />REGISTERED LAND SURVEY NUMBER 237 WHICH LIES WITHIN THE <br />SW~ OF THE SE~ OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 30, BE LEGALLY <br />COMBINED WITH THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS TRACT B OF <br />REGISTERED LAND SURVEY NUMBER 237. <br />2. THAT THERE BE NO CURB CUTS FROM SAID PORTION OF TRACT A <br />OF REGISTERED LAND SURVEY NUMBER 237. <br />3. THAT THE SITE AND LANDSCAPE PLANS CONFORM TO THE PLANS <br />AS SUBMITTED AND SIGNED BY THE CITY PLANNER AND THE <br />APPLICANT. <br />4.
