<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br />August 28, 1984 <br /> <br />Page Thirteen <br /> <br />Dan Kaufman, Kaufman Sign Company, and representative of <br />Tom Thumb Stores, explained the proposed sign. <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Blomquist, to WAIVE THE <br />READING AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION MAkING FINDINGS OF FACT AND <br />RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A VARIANCE REQUEST VN-237, SIGN <br />FOR TOM THUMB (375 Silver Lake Road). <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Krueger distributed plans and reviewed staff report con- <br />cerning a request to construct an addition to an existing <br />industrial building and a variance for the front yard set- <br />back. <br /> <br />Basic Industries <br />Addition and <br />Variance for <br />Setback <br />Report 84-229 <br />Resolution 84-127 <br /> <br />Motion by Harcus, seconded by Janecek, to RECOMMEND APPROVAL <br />OF LP-165 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: <br /> <br />1. REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT <br />FOR EXISTING ON-SITE DRAINAGE PROVISIONS. <br />2. APPROVAL OF VN-237 <br />3. APPROVAL OF NEW CURB CUTS BY RAMSEY COUNTY. <br />4. CONFORMANCE WITH SITE AND LANDSCAPE PLANS AS SIGNED <br />AND DATED BY THE APPLICANT AND THE CITY PLANNER. <br /> <br />and to WAIVE THE READING AND ADOPT A RESOLUTION MAKING <br />FINDINGS DF FACT AND RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF VN-237 TO <br />ALLOW FOR LESS THAN THE REQUIRED FRONT YARD SETBACK. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />Krueger reviewed staff report and stated the Planning Commi- <br />ssion has recommended approval of final PRD and final plat <br />request. <br /> <br />Robin Woods - <br />Final PRD-41 <br />and PL-139 <br />Report 230 <br /> <br />James Senden had a few concerns which he addressed: the <br />inclusion of provisions for placement of outdoor living <br />space buildings and specifications of exterior building <br />materials permitted be a part of the Homeowners Association <br />covenants and declarations; and that the PRD and master <br />landscape plans be recorded with the covenants and deed <br />restrictions. <br /> <br />LeFevere stated he has never filed attachments with a <br />Torrens Certificate. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Schmidt, to RECOMMEND APPROVAL <br />OF FINAL PRD-41 AND FINAL PL-139 SUBJECT TO THE CONDITION <br />THAT FINAL GRADING AND LANDSCAPING BE COMPLETED IN ACCORDANCE <br />WITH THE FINAL LANDSCAPE PLAN AS SIGNED AND DATED BY THE <br />APPLICANT AND THE CITY PLANNER. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br />
