<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Council Minutes <br />February 28, 1984 <br /> <br />Schmidt restated that his understanding is, in <br />terms of what was briefly outlined as a proposal, <br />that no assistance would be required on the part <br />of the City and that virtually none of the risk <br />options and complex considerations that had been <br />considered under our prior jOint planning effort <br />with a previous hotel developer exists. He <br />further stated that this was fairly straight- <br />forward and simple for the Council to deal with <br />and, given that, the Council should encourage TLC <br />to move quickly. <br /> <br />Ainas stated that although they need no financial <br />assistance, they would like to work with staff <br />for assistance in procuring the land. <br /> <br />Schmidt stated that the Council had assumed that <br />would be the case. <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Harcus to DEFER DIS- <br />CUSSION OF CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT CHARGES FOR <br />TREE REMOVAL UNTIL THE MARCH 13, 1984 COUNCIL <br />MEETING. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes, Motion Carried <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS AND UPDATES <br /> <br />Sinda indicated that the Ramsey County League of <br />Local Governments is having their Annual Legisla- <br />tive Banquet on March 21 st. <br /> <br />City Manager discussed the use of an independent <br />consultant to review controversial projects.
