<br />City of New Brighton <br />May 24, 1983 <br /> <br />Page Six <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />that the approval of this permit would not be <br />in the best interest of the City because of the <br />impact on the neighborhood and concern for access <br />and traffic. <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Janecek to waive RESOLUTION #83-65 <br />the reading and adopt a RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS <br />OF FACT AND RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF APPLICATION FOR <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT , SP-IIO. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />The Director of Community Development reviewed <br />the staff report and Planning Commission <br />recommendation. Mr. J. A. Cadwallader, appli- <br />cant was present to answer questions. <br /> <br />LP-146-Silver Oaks <br />Townhome-J.A. <br />Cadwallader Report <br />#83-139 <br /> <br />Motion by Schmidt, seconded by Blomquist to <br />approve LP-146, subject to the following: <br /> <br />1. All conditions in Council Resolution <br />#2302 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. Subject to conformance with site <br />landscaping and building plans as <br />submitted and signed by the applicant <br />and Director of Community Development. <br /> <br />5 Ayes - 0 Nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />Director of Community Development reviewed <br />the staff report and Planning Commission <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />LP-147 - Mattefy <br />Engineering <br />Report #83-140 <br /> <br />Councilmember Janecek stated that she would <br />not be opposed to a delay in the developer <br />providing the appropriate wall treatment on the <br />north side of the building until such time as <br />the future addition is completed, as she felt <br />it would be an unnecessary expense. <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus stated that his understanding was <br />that it would be approximately three years <br />until such expansion was completed and that he <br />,also agreed that it would be an unnecessary expense <br />to incur at this time. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Blomquist, seconded by Harcus to approve <br />LP-147 subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Approval of the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District. <br /> <br />2. Submittal of a plan with all required <br />information shown. <br />
