<br />Cit) 0' \~w Brighton <br />Decemher 14, 1982 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Motion by Benke, seconded by Janecek to <br />continue discussion of the final resolution <br />for the tax exempt mortgage for the New Brighton <br />Medical Center until such time as the City Bond Counsel <br />arrives. <br /> <br />Motion by Janecek, seconded by Blomquist to waive the <br />reading, hold the second reading adopt and order <br />pub li cati on of AN ORDINANCE At.1ENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS <br />OF CHAPTER VI OF THE NEW BRIGHTON ZONING ORDINANCE IN <br />REGARD TO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS. <br /> <br />5 ayes - 0 nayes - motion carried <br /> <br />1- <br /> <br />The City Planner reviewed the staff report, staff and <br />Planning Commission recommendation and proposed <br />resolution regarding the rezoning of properties con- <br />tained in R-124. The City Planner reviewed the <br />procedural history of the City's comprehensive planning <br />efforts and background regarding the property to be con- <br />sidered rezoned in the R-124 case. The City Planner <br />noted that the proposed resolution is recommended to <br />be amended by adding a number 11 and the City Planner <br />further indicated that the procedure history of this <br />rezoning should include notification that a developer <br />has expressed an interest in developing the property <br />in question. <br /> <br />~layor Harcus questioned how many other cities have a <br />similar zoning classification to the limited industrial <br />districts. <br /> <br />The City Planner noted that all cities have classifications <br />that vary and which set fo~th various standards for <br />development including permitted uses. <br /> <br />Mayor Harcus asked if under a special use permit in the <br />1-3 District if you could waive the performance standards. <br /> <br />The City Planner stated that SOrTie of the performance <br />standa,'ds in the 1-3 District pertain to developmental <br />standards such as financing, parking. etc.. which should <br />be waived.
