The <br />t~n~m "ovet~head corlductot~s" as used in <br />this section means any electrical con- <br />ductor, either bare or insulated, above <br />the ground except such conductors as are <br />enclosed in iron pipe or other material <br />covering of equal strength. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Clearance from fire escapes, exists or <br />standpipes. No sign shall be erected or <br />maintained in such a manner that any <br />portion of its surface or supports will <br />interfere in any way with fire ingress or <br />egress from any door, window or fire <br />escape. No sign shall be attached to a <br />standpipe or fire escape. <br /> <br />0:::- <br />,J. <br /> <br />Obstruction of openings. No sign <br />shall obstruct any openings to such an <br />extent that light or ventilation is <br />reduced to a point below that required <br />by the Uniform Building Code. Signs <br />erected within five (5) feet of an <br />exterior wall in which there are <br />openings within the area of the sign <br />shall be constructed of noncombustible <br />material or approved plastics. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />No sign shall be used at any location or <br />in any manner where it May be confused or <br />construed as a traffic control device or <br />create a traffic hazard. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />The owner of any sign shall properly <br />maintain and keep such sign in a safe, <br />orderly condition and keep such sign, <br />inclUding all parts and supports, <br />properly painted. <br /> <br />RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICTS, R-I, R-2 AND R-4. <br /> <br />Institutional sign.
